Q and A
Q: From where did you get the idea for the name of the site?
A: In an episode of "Jimmy Neutron" there was a place called ShangriLlama, this is the word I got "Shangri" from. I wanted the other part of the word to begin with a "Q" and have an "M" in. The rest just bumped out of my head and there was Shangriquama. Of course the visitors have to know it is a Sims-site, so I added "The Sims of" in the beginning. That's it!
Q: How long did it take you to build Shangriquama?
A: I can't answer this question because just like every real town, Shangriquama is never really ready. I keep replacing and adding decorations and houses so the progress is endless. The same goes for all my other neighborhoods
Q: Are there any rules here?
A: Only two:
1) You have to have fun visiting this site!
2) Don't spam the Guestbook please!
Q: Can I save pictures from The Sims of Shangriquama?
A: Well, okay, because you probably like my site's content if you want to save it and how can I say no to liking my site? Still, keep in mind that everything's copyrighted by me! Muaha!!!
Q: Can I put a link of your site on mine?
A: I will be glad to have more visitors on The Sims of Shangriquama and you can make as many commercial to my site as you want! There are also some buttons to use when linking to The Sims of Shangriquama. You can find them here.
Q: How to become an affiliate?
A: As easy as it is, just e-mail me. Add your site's address and maybe a few descriptive words. A button and a full description isn't needed. But if you'd like to affiliate, keep in mind that you need to link back to The Sims of Shangriquama.
Q: Are there any rules to become an affiliate?
A: Not much: at first your site has to be Sims-related (preferably The Sims 2) and secondly, your site can not contain adult materials, violence (except violence that your sims do :P) and anything like this (including links to sites not accepted!). I'll only affiliate with sites I really like but if I won't affiliate with you, it doesn't mean I don't like your site, it's just that I can't have too much affiliates at once... Simply e-mail me and we'll see what we'll do, m'kay?
Q: In which languages can I sign the Guestbook?
A: I speak Estonian, Russian, English and German. You can sign the Guestbook in all of these languages but English is the most prefered language though.
Q: Can I sign the Guestbook for several times?
A: Sign the GB as many times as you want, but please don't spam it!
Q: There were bloopers on the old site, what happened with them now?
A: I'm not sure if I want to put bloopers on my site yet. But the old bloopers-site is still up and you can take a look at it by clicking here.
Q: What about movies?
A: It's just like with the bloopers, I'm not sure if I want them on this site. But all of the old movies are up at the old site's this page.
